Word & Spirit, both/and

Michael Rowntree

I spent more than twenty years in pastoral ministry learning one thing: the Church doesn't have to choose between Reformed depth and Charismatic vitality. Rooted in the Wimber tradition and mentored by Jack Deere, I'm convinced that Scripture and experience, study and encounter, always belong together.

On The Remnant Radio I get to explore that every week. At Convergence Church OKC I get to live it out every Sunday — with a community where everyone gets to play.

“The Spirit didn't come just for the pros. Scripture invites every believer into naturally supernatural living.”

— Michael Rowntree

The World Made Right by Michael Rowntree — Finding Confident Hope in the Book of Revelation
New Book

The World Made Right

Most people open Revelation and feel confused, afraid, or both. I think they're missing the point. Revelation isn't a horror movie — it's a love letter about the world God is putting back together.

If you've wanted to read the last book of the Bible with hope instead of dread, this is for you.
